issue- approaching wellbeing by providing a mobile application that allows students to manage, prioritise, engage and respond to university life at Massey.

Design students at Massey could use a break. Wether it be submitting assignments, printing projects, concentrating in a space, time management or knowing what’s happening in class tomorrow. Wouldn’t it be useful to have something that makes all of this easier.

New Massey University COCA App

For this well being project me and my partner wanted to look at regular life of a Massey university COCA student and this can be improved. Our approach was simple we wanted use the information that was already there from our peers, tutors and university itself. Our application solution is a way of letting students be in control of what goes on around Massey.

App Specs

-Wanted a notification section for email’s received by tutor’s for a specific class, ( not keep piling up ur inbox and also you might miss out something important if you regularly do not check your email’s) -also talking to tutors in students specific streams and posting feedback on this app would be usefully and would allow for a deeper discussion.

-Most students at massey don’t know of events, exhibitions or important talks going on around massey. The app would serve a great purpose to keep everything thats going on at massey within a massey construct, rather than create various social media pages. -The events section allows students and tutors to post key events happening around massey. Not only will this create a grater massey community but also a chance for students from different disciplines to come together to share, learn and experience being a Massey student.

-The app will also include a map section for students to navigate their way around the Massey campus. They can type the room and block their class is being held and it will show them how to get there. -The map section will also notify students that want a working space at Massey and to see if there are classes or lectures being held within that space. It gives them options of where they would like to work and how they would like to work (quite, groups or collaborations)

-job opportunities and a time schedule planner that allows them to plot events, assignment dates and key objectives of an assignment
